Let's Partner
At the CEO of You®, we’ll partner with your organization to provide best practices in equity, diversity, and inclusion. Our national network of top women in leadership and professional development, will help your organization advance and accelerate the careers and business goals of women, especially women of color (WOC).
Are the Women in Your Organization Feeling Stuck?
Employer’s commitment to advancing women’s careers has been a focus for several years. But commitment hasn’t resulted in consistent improvements especially for women of color. At some stage in our careers, many of us have found ourselves the “only” one who looks like us. Advancement for women, especially women of color, isn’t moving. It’s stuck!
Our passion is equipping women, especially women of color, to solve their career and business challenges by providing an integrative, holistic approach to professional development that integrates career, health, relationships, and values.
We’ll bring the leadership and professional development solutions for every stage of a women's development that are authentic, inspirational, knowledgeable, and infectious with energy. Your organization brings your challenges, opportunities, and aspirations! The result will be a holistic leadership and advancement experience custom-designed for growth-oriented women and their needs.
The CEO of You® Academy is critical for WOC because their lived experiences are differentiated along four important dimensions:
-
Leveraging social networks for career advancement
-
Establishing organizational benefactors or sponsors to support WOC professional advancement
-
Valuing Communal Support Systems or ‘Kinship Network Systems’ to manage work and life priorities
-
Providing coping strategies designed to build awareness of intersectionality and to resist internalizing experiences of sexism and racism and attributing them to personal failings
The CEO of You® Academy is a 6-month virtual instructor-led program designed for high-performing women with at least 15 years of professional experience. The program integrates career, health, values, and relationships in a supportive environment that focuses on the challenges of women, allowing for greater authenticity among participants.
According to Harvard Business Review, many diversity and inclusion programs fail because "organizations are trying to reduce bias with the same kinds of programs they’ve been using since the 1960s."
Programs that aim to "fix the problem" with women, especially women of color aren't the solution.
When you are ready to shift your efforts into high gear, the CEO of You® is here to help!
